Sage Intacct v2 Guide
Sage Intacct v2 (REST API) is the latest version of the Sage Intacct API that is actively supported by Sage Intacct. It is recommended for all customers and will be the primary API for new Sage Intacct features.
Sage Intacct Partnership Program
The Sage Intacct Partnership Program allows customers to use Sage Intacct through Rutter's API and your team's SenderID. The SenderID is a unique identifier that is used to measure API usage from Sage Intacct.
Please note that a partnership is NOT required to use Rutter's Sage Intacct integration. However, it is recommended for customers who have a large volume of API calls. If you are not sure if you need a partnership, please reach out to Rutter's customer success team to discuss your use case.
As of Q4 2025, the Sage Intacct partnership program has the following pricing terms:
- $2,500 annual fee for the partnership program (includes 1 SenderID for free)
- $1,000 fee for each additional SenderID
- $0.015 per API call but Sage provides a $1,000 API call credit per month (amounts to ~66,000 free API calls per month)
If you choose NOT to participate in the partnership program, your customer will need to purchase their own web services developer license from Sage Intacct. The developer license costs upwards of $2,500 per year and does not include any technical support.
It is strongly recommended to participate in the partnership program to avoid having your customers purchase their own web services developer license from Sage Intacct. Typically, Sage Intacct partners do not need to purchase additional SenderIDs which allows for multiple customers to be onboarded without additional annual fees.
The process to join the Sage Intacct partnership program involves the following steps:
- Reach out to Rutter's customer success team to receive the contact information for the Sage Intacct Partnership Team.
- Reach out to the Sage Intacct Partnership Team to kick off the partnership process.
- Once the partnership is approved, you will receive a SenderID for either testing or production usage.
- Follow the steps below to create a Sage Intacct environment using your SenderID.
Creating a Sage Intacct Environment
Note: A valid SenderID is required for the steps below and Sage Intacct Web Services License Password is required for the steps below. Both the SenderID and Sage Intacct Web Services License Password are provided through the Sage Partnership Team.
Step 1: Login to the Sage Intacct Developer Portal.
Step 2: Create a new Organization on Sage Intacct's Developer Console.
Step 3: In Programmes tab, create a new Programme for your application. You will need to provide your team's SenderID provided by the Sage Intacct Partnership Team.
Step 4: In Applications tab, create a new Sage Intacct application.
In Redirect URIs, please add the following URL: https://production.rutterapi.com/authentication/proxy/redirect-url
Under Intacct Web Services License Password, please enter the password that was provided by the Sage Intacct Partnership Team.
