Acumatica Guide
Setting up the Acumatica Integration
To access your users' data from Acumatica, you need to enable the Acumatica integration in the Platforms Page of the Rutter dashboard.
Acumatica does not require any additional developer app setup.
User Authentication with Acumatica
A Rutter Connection is created when your end user authenticates their Acumatica account via Rutter Link. This in turn allows you to access their account data via the Rutter API.
Acumatica uses username and password credentials for authentication. The user supplies four pieces of information in Rutter Link:
Step 1: Enter the Acumatica instance URL.
Provide the full URL of your Acumatica instance, for example https://mycompany.acumatica.com/instance.
Step 2: Enter the Acumatica company name.
Provide the name of the company (tenant) within your Acumatica instance.
Step 3: Enter your Acumatica username and password.
Provide the username and password for the Acumatica user account that Rutter will authenticate as. Rutter recommends using a dedicated user with sufficient permissions to read and write the data your integration requires.
