KashFlow Guide

Setting up the KashFlow Integration

To access your users' data from KashFlow, you need to enable the KashFlow integration in the Platforms Page of the Rutter dashboard.

KashFlow does not require any additional developer app setup.

User Authentication with KashFlow

A Rutter Connection is created when your end user authenticates their KashFlow account via Rutter Link. This in turn allows you to access their account data via the Rutter API.

KashFlow uses username and password authentication. Before connecting, the end user must enable API access for their KashFlow account. See KashFlow's instructions to enable the API for details. When enabling API access, the user should uncheck the "Restrict Access to specific IP addresses" option. A separate API password may optionally be set.

Step 2: Enable API access in KashFlow.

Follow the KashFlow API enable instructions to enable API access for your account.

Enter the following fields in Rutter Link to complete the connection:

  • Username — your KashFlow login username
  • Password — your KashFlow login password, or your API password if you have set one up
