Setting up the Pay.nl Integration

To access your users' data from Pay.nl, you need to enable the Pay.nl integration in the Platforms Page of the Rutter dashboard.

Pay.nl does not require any additional developer app setup.

User Authentication with Pay.nl

A Rutter Connection is created when your end user authenticates their Pay.nl account via Rutter Link. This in turn allows you to access their account data via the Rutter API.

The user will provide the following credentials in Rutter Link:

Step 1: Generate an API Token in Pay.nl.

Log in to the Pay.nl dashboard and navigate to Company → Tokens to create a new API token. Once created, the API Code will appear in the CODE column and the API Token will appear in the TOKEN column of the tokens table.

Step 2: Enter the API Code in Rutter Link.

Paste the Pay.nl API Code (for example, AA-0000-0000) into the API Code field.

Step 3: Enter the API Token in Rutter Link.

Paste the Pay.nl API Token into the API Token field.
