Clover Guide
Setting up the Clover Integration
To access your users' data from Clover, you need to enable the Clover integration in the Platforms Page of the Rutter dashboard.
Because Clover uses OAuth 2.0, you must create a Clover developer app to obtain a client ID and client secret. Enter these credentials on the Rutter dashboard when configuring the Clover integration.
User Authentication with Clover
A Rutter Connection is created when your end user authenticates their Clover account via Rutter Link. This in turn allows you to access their account data via the Rutter API.
The user first selects their Clover region (US & Canada, EU, LATAM, or Sandbox) and is then redirected to the Clover OAuth authorization page for that region. After granting access, the user is redirected back to Rutter and a connection is established automatically.
Clover supports the following regions:
- US & Canada —
clover.com - EU —
eu.clover.com - LATAM —
api.la.clover.com - Sandbox —
sandbox.dev.clover.com
For information on creating a Clover developer app, refer to the Clover developer documentation.
