Setting up the Chargebee Integration

To access your users' data from Chargebee, you need to enable the Chargebee integration in the Platforms Page of the Rutter dashboard.

Chargebee does not require any additional developer app setup.

User Authentication with Chargebee

A Rutter Connection is created when your end user authenticates their Chargebee account via Rutter Link. This in turn allows you to access their account data via the Rutter API.

The user authenticates with two pieces of information:

1. Store Name — the subdomain of their Chargebee site (e.g. mycompany for mycompany.chargebee.com).
2. API Key — a Chargebee API key for their site.

To generate an API key in Chargebee, navigate to Settings → Configure Chargebee → API Keys in the Chargebee dashboard. For more details, refer to the Chargebee API authentication documentation.
