Setting up the TikTok Shop Integration
To access your users' data from TikTok Shop, you need to enable the TikTok Shop integration in the Platforms Page of the Rutter dashboard.
TikTok Shop uses OAuth 2.0. You must create a TikTok Shop developer app via the TikTok Shop Partner Center to obtain an App Key and App Secret, then provide those credentials when configuring TikTok Shop in the Rutter dashboard. Refer to the TikTok Shop authorization documentation for details on registering an app.
Note: This integration is for TikTok Shop (e-commerce), not TikTok Ads. A separate TikTok Ads integration is available on the Rutter dashboard.
User Authentication with TikTok Shop
A Rutter Connection is created when your end user authenticates their TikTok Shop seller account via Rutter Link. This in turn allows you to access their store data via the Rutter API.
When a user connects through Rutter Link, they are redirected to the TikTok Shop OAuth authorization page (https://auth.tiktok-shops.com/oauth/authorize), where they log in and approve access to their seller account. Upon approval, TikTok Shop returns an authorization code that Rutter exchanges for an access token on the user's behalf. The seller's shop region (for example, US) is captured from the redirect response.
